  • Stunning necklace with generous coral and all well done pedants . Very nicea top collecytor'item.

  • What is unusual with the square pendants tha tthey are not just rectangle but almost sculped. And the dangles are also slightly curved. The more you look the more special features you see. Very fine Alaa Eddine.  GR. Ingrid.

  • Dear Alaa; I agree with Ingrid - a truly exceptional and museum piece. I just love the filigree balls! Congratulations! Peter
  • Very, very beautiful, Alaa. Congrats! A quite old looking piece it is, too. Do you have any idea about its age?

  • Thanx everyone

@Ingrid: you are definetely right, they are curved anf the square shaped boxes at top have greaaat age

@Betty: one friend from yemen commented that this style dates back to Imama Al Mansur era, roughly anytime during the 19th century, BUT i think that a close inspection and expertise from a textile expert to assees the fabric used, could tell us more in this regard, the textile seems to be some old cotton indian fabric, Calicut?

  • Beautiful, Alaa. I've always found that one great advantage of a textile backing is that it keeps the jewellery from damage .. from falling apart. ...particularly important where, like this, there are so many small and delicate parts.

  • Gorgeous treasure. The textures are so elegant.
