This is really beautiful. I have not seen anything like it before.
Here the enamel shows to advantage in particular - not perfect (and one would not expect that), but good, overall. It's a very pleasant piece.
I would guess that it is made of a low grade but pleasant silver alloy, which was often used in Bulgaria.
This image is proving very popular on Facebook, howah, where I have posted it, along with the close-up shot (both are attracting attention, and usefully complement each other while yet they differ significantly in what they show). A nice piece!

All I`ve ever found is an old Rumanian coin. Indoors I did once find a hidden banknote of very high denomination. No longer legal tender, of course!
