  • Wow!!! Beautiful!!! Impressive!
  • Fine quality, and yes - good age.
  • I did not remember these - but coming across them again I am bowled over by the quality and their imposing appearance. The sort of thing that looks only better almost two years after you first saw it, as we see less and less really outstanding jewellery. In the case of Oman, there is much GOOD jewellery - and with far more variety than I was aware of - but there is not an awful lot that is SUPERB in quality, like these pieces.

  • Yes I wear these allot as cuffs .  I think this was one of the only times Sam on one of his trips to the UK without me purchased them for me. He had a good eye for jewelry like he does for rugs.  The dealer who had these is no longer owning a shop. He was an arms dealer in London. He always had incredible items mixed in the way European dealers do. I think he is still in business but not in a shop.

  • I am glad that Sam acted for your benefit on that occasion. They are beautiful. Remember, too, that as you have yourself said Coral has probably inherited her good eye from BOTH of her parents, so that is an ongoing positive! And you are right: in London one must always be prepared for surprises.
