Amulet, Sahara

This kind of amulets is quite common in Souther Morocco and Sahara. This type seems of the kind used among the Arib women as part of their hairdo (hjab dyal nogra). See Morin-Barde's "Coiffures féminines du Maroc".

Indeed JOSE, and yours has a silver bale which is quite uncommon since for savy nomads, non precious metals would do the job quite as well!
