Amharic Pendant, Ethiopia 2

old Amharic pendant, province of Wolo, 6 x 6 cm, base probably low grade silver (if at all - difficult to say), granules and wires better silver. Sweet tiny coloured beads at the bottom. Each round contained a stone, light green to colourless, two are missing. Seller has no info about age, but says it is antique.

  • @Chantal, thank you. The article's title is "The secret of Axum" (which is referred to the covenant with the ten commandments given to Mose, which they say is in Axum. No-one has seen it, it is strictly forbidden to open it. There are guardians who are spending their hole life guarding it... but this you know better, as you have been to Ethiopia).
