Why on earth haven`t I noticed this before? It`s hard enough to find any reinforced beads from the area, never mind a whole necklace. Did you find the beads separately, Annmarie, or was it already made up? It`s very lovely.
I assembled the necklace myself, collected the beads while living in Senegal.....
Thank you, Annemarie. That`s the secret to finding them - living closer to their origin. But it would be difficult to find so many today. Even in Morocco and Mauretania.
