  • Hi, something never seen before. But I have a question: Who are These Bororo? (because there is an ethnical Group in the Sahara-Sahel named Bororo-Woodabe - a subgroup of the Fulani (Peul) People, living in various countries (Mali, Niger, some even in Burkina and Senegal). So, which People are your Bororo? Seems an Amazonic Indian Group? Can you tell us something ? Thank you.

  • The Bororo people are an indigenous people of Brazile (Mato Grosso) . They also extended into
Bolivia . They are also known as Araes , Boe ,Coxipone , Aripaktsa . See also a new photo .
  • Hi, thank you for the Information.  I did not know that there is another ethnical People named Bororo in South America. Interesting!  The Bororo of the Sahel (Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso) are quite famous for their wonderful Dances and costumes and the men make up their faces... will try to put a photo here under comments. their full Name is "Bororo" or "Woodabe" and they are a subgroup of the Fulani tribes (Peul People). They make up like this for Dances at the "Gerewol-Festivity", where they try to impress Girls. The Girls watch the men dancing and choose then a man - some stay together for only a night, other for all the life..........depending how things work out.2506004638?profile=originalThe Girls do not look so colourful, and it is the Girl or woman who chooses.....
