Interesting colours, ayis!
Thanx joost, i particularly love the central coral cabachon with its pale rose and beautiful patina
That is just beautiful!!!
Very glad to see it again, ayis. It should attract more attention and comments than it has done so far ... Looking at it closely this time (for some reason I must have been hurried previously) I do note that remarkable pinkish coral, which creates interesting variation and is a remarkably "under-stated" colour for the CENTRE of the piece (where you would expect the STRONGEST colour). I also note with pleasure the slightly bluish tinge in the green, and a noteworthy blue. It's obviously in good condition too. It really stands out, not only among tabzimts, but many other North African pieces now so often seen as well.
Thanx KARIE, it is indeed a beautiful ornament both aesthetically and endowed with a very cultural meaning.
Joost i can't agree more with your comment on the central coral cabochon, this pink colour has been the cause for me purchasing the jewel
