Yess Sarah, you are right, though the ones worn in the Ouarzazate area and the draa valley ( and the closer oases as well) were of a lesser quality , notably niello and enamel, these region being in the periphery of the Sirour/Ait ouaouzguit, thus not having the best smith .
The one you have tried on your head is waaaaaay more intricate and precious
