    interesting objects, I really enjoy seeing these and others. What is a "colonial pressed metal box"? (I can see the box, but the name does not really make me understand. Anyway, the box looks nice too!

    Sorry Eva you are right. What I was trying to say was imported from Europe during colonial times.
    It still has a tiny little broken birds egg in it. It is old.
