That was my idea too but both sellers said it is Middle East or Saudi Arabia.
What was there before the blue beads?? did they just leave it with the space open?
It seems not logical they used triangle glass as most space is round.
Yes there is wax around the beads to keep them in place and fill the remaining space.
Yes I see them but majority are round......I think you are right and they come from Pakistan Pashtoon.
How lucky you are to be able to find 2 examples.. Now you can wear them as a pair and make people envious!

Very nice pair, Marie-Ange. I saw once a similar one described as Saudi but I seem from the previous comments that they are most likely Pashtoon. Great bracelets anyway!.
