From my collection , a splendid cuff ( This is one of a pair ) worn by Bhil tribal women :Bhils are a scheduled tribe in the states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan in western and central India, as well as in Tripura in far-eastern India, on the border with Bangladesh. I put this picture because I like the way it stands proudly with few other excavation afghani small bottles I don't have anymore alas!

  • Very impressive´. What is the material, as it looks a bit reddish, is this only by the light when it was taken or is the material containing copper?
  • I confirm that the aspect "reddish" is due to the light and that the material is normal 900 silver... I found back this picture taken long time ago  had its charm like that!
