G'au, gilded, various stones, NepalDescription:This is a typical ceremonial G'au from Himalaya area worn for traveling and to protect the owner. As texts says, it is supposed to frighten hungry ghosts and evil spirits.Althought it is a collector's item ( even it has been made in the fifties) it is also wearable ...Splendid work (filigree, precision of the divinity and variety of the stones)!This G'au has been used very often as you can see on the piece but nevertheless is still in good state and nothing is missing!Weight:140grHeight:3,14inchWidth:3,14inch
