Old fibula set from north western Morocco

Silver gilt, enameled and inlaid with semi precious stones...even a couple of emerald roots and rubies. A fibula set dating back to around a century ago when these were still in use in cities. The refines and higher workmanship does differ greatly from that used on more common berber / countryside fibulas. The chain set with the additional khamsa pendant will hang very low, a common fashion among citadine or city-influenced ladies
