  • Very beautiful!

  • You really got a good eye for old pieces, especially as you bought it without knowledge.  Well done!!

  • Very beautiful, love the contrast of the tiny snail shells.

  • Thank you! I'm assuming its a Berber wedding necklace and that the orange beads are amber. Could the black beads be black coral?

  • those seashells are Pusiostoma-

i dont think that black coral is used much in N. africa, more likely nice old glass-

  • This is indeed a creation based on old style and using older elements.

The black beads are glass they locally called "BAIJBAIJ" and i am still searching for its western name and it is obviously an import trade bead from europe

  • You have a lot of nice old elements here, the orange beads should be coral, the golden brown ones amber. If they are real, there is a lot of value in this necklace.

  • Thank you all very much! I'll have to find someone here in Hawaii that can verify the stones.

  • Beautiful traditional necklace with coral and amber.
