  • Hi,this is most likely Sri Lankan or perhaps South Indian in origin. Type in Sri Lankan in the search option on this site and you will find more ornaments that have the same type of workmanship. It's beautiful in any case and rare!
  • Thank you Howah, I'll look up Sri Lankan jewelry. I'm totally unfamiliar with it, so it will be lovely to research.
  • I've found a reference in Oppi Untracht's book. An almost identical bracelet is illustrated in it from the Collection Ghysels in Brussels. It is identified as coming from Orissa. What delicate work!
