  • Oh, LOVE these Edith!

  • Thanks, these were the last thing I purchased in Yemen before I was forced to leave the country.   I love them too,

  • Very nice pieces ,, never saw this style

  • Very beautiful.
  • beautiful detail photos, thanks a lot! Very nice!

  • Spectacular. Never seen this type before. Would not have associated these with Yemen.
  • Beautiful! Very special types. When did you stay in Yemen? I ask because not many nice items do come out now.

  • I left about 4 years ago.  It was a difficult place to be in some ways, but it was also an interesting and wonderful time for us.  The dealer I purchase from has been complaining lately about certain types of items disappearing.  I think with all the recent problems there it is probably affecting the availability of jewelry.

  • So you lived there till quite recent time. From what we read in the papers it must be a bit harsh and difficult to live in Yemen. But wonderful to get to know the culture and collect jewelry and other collectables (when you are interested in it that is) . You have got nice items!

I can not find much any more here in europe.
