Yemeni Bracelets

Yemeni bracelets of the same design made by the same smith or workshop, but in different sizes. In silver of .600 purity. The one on top is my "Would you believe this is low silver?" bracelet and I took them to be x-rayed for metal content to learn more about them. First half of the 20th century.

  • Actually, in a tribal context I personally think 60% is quite good! And the work and wear cannot be faulted. Very satisfying pieces indeed. Delightful, in fact. I'd happily own them - so full of character.
