Thanks for the nice close ups. I was hoping to find on the embroidery patterns we find on the silver jewelry.I cant really but perhaps its because I dont know Tunisian jewelry well enough. Maybe Edith could comment?

Very nice tunic! Chantal, I do not know if there are any direct correlations with jewelry patterns, but I suspect that, like everything else Tunisian, an analysis of the motifs would probably yield a combination of Berber, Fatimid and Ottoman influences. You can probably see many correlations with various patterns in Tunisian carpets.This is a nice find since the traditional wedding clothing and jewelry is being supplanted by more westernized jewelry and clothing.
