Are these the Kingbeads which are rather valuable. Any idea why and what could be the age on them?
Cheeers, Ingrid. Yes these are a variety (green) of King beads. It seems that they were quite important in the African barter trade for certain commodities. By their state and the information provided by my contact they would be most likely from the last third of the XIXth century or so.
