A digital archive showcasing the extensive collection of jewellery and adornment images shared on the former Ethnic Jewels Ning site over the years. These images have significantly enriched discussions on cultural adornment and its global dispersion.

Silver tepelik (woman's hat cover). Late-Ottoman, 19th c. Ø 127 mm; decorated with scrolls, rosettes and leaves motifs; having a central boss with a red glass stone. Surrounded with 12 chains, featuring 32 coins which hang on two levels. A forehead pendent with a central glass bead is attached to the tepelik by 5 chains, featuring another 18 silver coins. The tepelik had to be placed on top of a rather high fes/hat. Probably originating from Central Anatolia. (Ankara Ethnographic Museum).
