Snuff / tabacco box. A man’s accessory. Turkey (probably Central Anatolia), around 1930. Material: Alpaka (nickel silver), a silvery-coloured alloy of 60% copper, 20% nickel and 20% zinc. Purchased in Alanya, in 2003. (Inv.n° 048 - Kavak Costume Collection - Antwerpen/Belgium). (SOLD to a Greek folk dance group in Belgium).
