  • Museum quality sinsile!
  • I couldn't even list all of that one year as I sold so much central asian,, never got to the rest of the groups.  I don't think but us is interested in seeing so many at one time? I like to see them next to each other I rarely have a chance to compare like this.. I found my kazakh cuffs need one or two more examples as there is now one missing I sold recently and should have not done so as it is making a hole if you know what I mean.  Chances are unless a fluke this stuff came out pretty much the same time and I got the first cuff I sold about 25 years ago.

  • I'm waiting for the good stuff to appear again. The ones you sold are better examples than in most jewelry books so it's very kind of you to share these images with us. It enables me to learn more and to recognise odd ball examples that are not featured in the current offering of ethnic jewelry book titles.

  • Yes its actually ashame when pieces get sold and lost to the world for study.. I'm glad Sarah has made this blog for us to share and learn. it is exactly why I'm posting things. It is also hard to believe so much great stuff was coming out, and quite depressing now by the lack of it. At least you were able to jump on the bodice and have noticed the few things out there that are great recently.. your eye is what counts and you have it!
