A digital archive showcasing the extensive collection of jewellery and adornment images shared on the former Ethnic Jewels Ning site over the years. These images have significantly enriched discussions on cultural adornment and its global dispersion.

Silver choker necklace. Called 'gerdanlık' or 'kıstı'. Late-Ottoman, from Western or Central Anatolia, 19th century. With 26 plaques decorated with a 'head of dragon' at the sides. These plaques are affixed to a tissue strip; each plaque has a composite dangle hanging from it, connected with rings. The central rosette contains a green glass stone on the boss and features a pear-shaped pendent. Length (with tissue strip): 44 cm. (Ankara Ethnographic Museum).
