  • Ethiopian or Indian?
  • Does anybody know if these are Ethiopian or Indian? They are heavy, the silver is very good. Resembles Ethiopian bracelets in World of Bracelets, p. 99. but there is some similarity to Indian bracelets, p. 183. Diameter, 64mm, height, 28mm.
  • To me they look Ethiopian (by their decorationbut) in the world of bracelets there is on page183 a pair that is a bit the same but the decoration is quite different. In Nubia you also find these bracelets.

  • Thanks Harald, a dealer told me they were Ethipoian. The amazing thing about this pair is the high quality of the silver. By the way, these were listed as being of white metal! It was the wear pattern that tipped me off.

  • very nice !!!!
