A digital archive showcasing the extensive collection of jewellery and adornment images shared on the former Ethnic Jewels Ning site over the years. These images have significantly enriched discussions on cultural adornment and its global dispersion.

Traditional bridal/festive costume, from the Seyitgazi district (prov. Eskişehir). A remainder of the so-called ‘Bahriye’-style (= ‘Navy’), which was popular in Istanbul in the early 20th century. Silver thread embroidery on silk. The ensemble was made c. 1960. The jewelry (‘tokalı kemer’/belt & ‘muskalık’/amulet necklace) are older: 1900-1925.
