SOLD Signed Starshot Silver Beads of 1900s

SOLD A curious combination of antique silver beads, each one signed by its maker before they were left in Yemen when the silversmiths all left for Israel in the first decades of the 1900s. At some later time, these beads were collected in Yemen and strung with a decoration from a belt in the place of an amulet on the traditional Yemen Jewish necklace. It does indeed form a prayer pocket and so serves a higher purpose than when it simply adorned someone's belly. ;)See more athttp://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/product_view/craftsofthepast/3916313/Antique
