Even without the gold coins this is an exceptionally beautiful kirdan, Peter. I also love the heart-shape finals.
I always love kirdans, and this one has very unusual details. The crown above the centerpiece, the connectors that are set with carnelians or glass, the gold coins, the heart shaped filials, the wonderful embroidered backing, and the amber bead to close!!
I second Betty, those heart appliques are so delicate that one can readily expect them in a chocolate box!!
A very good example!
