Great picture and yes these are the Eritrean fertility anklets alright,and like I wrote the string of silver beads with them except that the string of glass beads are missing. Looking great. A surprise to me and no surprise, because these ladies love jewelry (they are the nomadic ones) Afars they go far all the way to the Red Sea .I believe this place is called Senbette (means sunday market).northern part of Shoa bordering Wollo. I have been there. The lady behind them in white is a local from the area.A lot less flamboyant,but still spirited. Nice memories.
