What a lucky find! It's gorgeous, congratulations!! I love central amulet and the different kinds of mulberry beads.
This is so beautiful. Each bead is perfection and the amulet has such lovely detailed workmanship.
Beautiful piece Peter, it looks so genuine and rich in its details. Another fancy item Peter in your rich collection.
Beautiful and rich Peter.
This is a really nice one, beautiful silver work. Can you tell us what the signature is on this?
These two dealers are among the most knowledgeable people especially when talking of Yemeni and Levantine/Ottoman, including Iraqi jewellery. I am learning a lot from them.
With kind regards.
Peter
How wonderful to have sourced such a necklace these days. It would be my dream - I have NEVER seen a pendant anything like that.
The small granulated silver beads could maybe be Bedihi?
This is one of the more beautiful of this type of pendant I have seen. I am working with this pendant that is not as nice but very large
This measures about 6 or so inches across , very good silver but what is unusual about Peter's is the design on the front. This one is quite old below also. I should post the group of Yemen pieces that I have been working with, sold a few but didn't put them on line. This one I sold, when i get better photos taken I will re list it. i took these quickly.
These beads are very good, very large size also. It's very beautiful. Sold now.
