  • I don't know what this style of Turkoman pendant is called, but I always think of it as the Turkoman hamsa.
  • I guess I find Hamsas where ever I look!
  • Yes it is Turkoman amulet , Tekke tribe , I have seen them  before, but not with the star, it was a newer one , I have a picture of it , it was also called a Hamsa. I think it is a wonderful piece. The writing can be Persian. (Farsi in Iran or Dari: spoken in Afghanistan)
