Mizam and knobbly bangles

I have been drooling over pics of such wonderful knobbly bracelets for a long time, and within time was lucky to acquire a few of them. The bottom piece is also Saharan as IDed by Hillary on EJRS on fb.

  • Lovely arangements and beautifu lbracelets

  • Thank you Chantal and Angelo.

Angelo, is yours also rather large? Mine is actually hinged. If I get time I'll post a separate pic later ...

  • Betty …is 3 inches wide total  …maybe 2/34 inner diameter …it's not with me ..it is in my house in Italy

sometime when i;m in italy i tell the seller to ship there ..mostly if they come from europe ..or in this case from morocco  …cheaper shipping costs…then to USA

    Kisses

  • These are great bracelets Betty - and a very beautiful photo! With kind regards. Peter

  • Thank you Peter. I love them a lot and wear them very often. I have one more mid-sized mizam coming plus a lovely Saharan necklace with small silver beads, tine pendants and differently coloured agate (my Christmas gift to myself :)). Kind regards, Betty

  •  Beautiful photo of these lovely bracelets, Betty. They look magnificent together. A real eyecatcher.

  • Hi Betty, a lovely collection and so wearable.  Good thing to cuddle yourself sometimes.  GR. Ingrid.

  • Thank you Thelma and Ingrid. There is actually a lovely story of how I got the first one of these bracelets (the large piece). I bid on ebay on a much simpler bangle version without a hinge. The price was very good, so I thought I can risk buying it even I was not sure it was big enough for me to wear.  When I got the package, much to my surprise and delight, I found this piece! I had been looking for one that was affordable for a long time. I still contacted the seller about the confusion (I was a bit worried he might want to have it back), but he just answered slightly grumpily that this was the only piece he had left. Sometimes you get more that you bargain for!

  • Betty  a god story, he happy because you didn't argue and you because luck was with you.  Great feeling and happy ending. Gr. Ingrid.
