Miao??? it is not a Rabari Kutch torque ???? from India/Pakistan frontier ?

Hi Michel, - I remember seeing it before, of course, and now that you ask: yes, I think t is Miao, not Gujarat. It has a different strucure, which is less "voluptous", more 'thin" and "austere". The silver is also different (the Indian one being superior). I feel about 90% sure about this. I think the price is defensible in either case - possibly too cheap if it were Indian! - but personally I would advertise it as Miao. We've got both examples that I posted, and you can also compare the Miao type (of which we have two) in Truus's book, p. 244. Best wishes! Joost
