Metal and enamel pendant, front view

Old metal pendant. Not silver though I found it interesting. Quite heavy (about 300 grms). 17 cm long (excluding loop, dangles and chain), 10 cm wide and about 4 cm deep. It cannot be open. I do not know its origin (possibly Moroccan) or use but quite decorative. Any ideas welcome

This shape of pendant is typical of Ouarzazatte to the north east of the village where this was made.
