  • Very good!

  • Love these pieces! Glad that I could buy one recently, although narrower than this one. If I had not, I would feel crazy about chasing for one of this kind! Beautiful!

  • Linda, what is inside diameter?

  • So beautiful!

  • The inside dieameter is 2 1/4 inches and it also opens.

  • Hm pitty just too smal for me....

  • I have a pretty large wrist and when this is on there is 1/2 inch space inside from my wrist to the size.

this is pretty large.. and opens

  • Yes Linda, these hinged Mizam bracelets from the south of Morocco ? North of Mauritania are usually hinged.

    I love these !

  • Technically speaking, these are amazing pieces as they are (usually) made entirely without solder, the silver overlays being held in place by the knobs, the twisted wires are folded underneath and the hinges are even held in place with studs.  The inside silver folds over to hold the outside rim of the bracelet portions.  Fantastic!

  • Isn't this bracelet itself hinged?? The construction is not wholly clear to me from the photo, but it does seem as though the bracelet is in effect made up of two equal parts. It would be interesting to hear more about that matter, Linda. A very nice bracelet, for sure.
