Traditional ‘gerdanlık’ (tight-fitting necklace) from NW Anatolia. Ca. late 19th century. Silver alloy, turquoises, coral, glass beads (+ some plastic ones at both ends), a late-Ottoman silver coin (1907). Width: 33 cm. Purchased in Bursa.
