A traditional festive (‘summer’) costume from the Konya province. Late-Ottoman urban fashion, end of 19th century. With an ‘üçetek’ (robe with three panels) and an ‘arkalık’ (triangular waistcloth) in silk discontinuous (‘broché’) brocade. They date, as well as the jewelry, from 1875-1900, or earlier.
