Elderly Kurdish women in traditional daily costumes, including impressive headgear (called 'kôfi'). From the Adiyaman province, rural fashion, 1980. Large 'kôfi', such as these, explain the existence of larger-than-normal tepeliks (metal head cover) in Kurdistan.
