A traditional festive costume from the Sandıklı district (Afyon province). Rural, style of 1950-1975. The black shirt is adorned with metal sequins and ‘tel kırma’ embroidery (motives obtained by sticking narrow metallic strips through the fabric and folding them). Embroidered apron, headscarf adorned with Metal sequins and edged with beadwork tassels. (Kavak Costume Collection-Antwerpen/Belgium).
