These necklaces were worn in the Harague/Ogadin ,Ethiopian and Somalian region.and most probably Yemen.Very rare.They have the quiet beauty. The most left one should have bells, which must look were they are hiding.

  • I love those beads too, still mourning the one and only occasion when I could of obtained some of them at a very reasonable price... but how much nicer would it be to have a whole chain with them. Very beautiful items, Ingrid!

  • Thank you Betty.  These are unusual mostly the large beaded necklaces are mostly on  woolen strings with sometimes two very large lovely smooth beads with a couple of large glass or antique red resin beads. So they are quite  rare by now.   Like you said, we do miss good deals in our life.  Gr. Ingrid.
