  • I'd suggest polishing this with a silver cloth to see what lustre and colour you then get. It's very drab at the moment, and it really is not a good idea to let silver oxidise too much, in contrast to e.g. bronze. This looks as though it could easily be made to look better. In fact, my hands itch!
  • Well, bring out your cloth!  Many of the pieces were photographed seconds before they were dhl'd to Sydney, more as a record. I'm looking forward to cleaning them myself! I've bought some fabulous fibulas, with Sarah's expert help, in Morocco.
