  • must be the famous "wormhole"-type! Very nice one!

  • The funny story with this is that the person that sold me this, had it in very old hanging around inventory Put away type of item..  The guy was tall and very good looking. He was very flirtasious and I fell into this because he was unusually motivated.  It was very reasonable. LIke a give away. I also left lots of cash in my bag in his shop with my passport.. I was with my girlfriend and we had deals going on in many shops, going back and forth.. I was frantic and he had everything there saved for me. . i find the vendors to mostly be very honest.. they were very good and always treated me very well year after year... I was afraid to go back to this guy since he was proposing marriage by the end of that week.... funny

  • sounds like you had a very full and adventurous life !  I wish I had started collecting (and perhaps selling) ethnic jewellery earlier........ (was also moving around a lot in the world.......but more in the art (painting) as hobby, ...... got almost married in Canada........ but left when another icy winter started and I could not bear the cold anymore. Compared to the temperatures of Quebec, Switzerland is mild!).

  • Whatever the passion you choosed, life is enthralling and you should look at it very possitively because everythink is worth living

Buthen when it comes to ethnic jewels, there is Linda's life, which is very very rich!

I second Eva, you had the chance Linda to start the ethnic jewels odissey at a time when it was "fashionable" and very "IN" and of course at a time when there was so much stuff available , museum quality!

Congrats for your pieces, one can not chose one over another

  • It is something I really like as I use them, am interested in the anthropology and love the esthetics of the pieces as objects of art.  I like fashion, interior design and all the things I like I think are similar taste,, it is not for everyone,, and not commercial but am glad you appreciate it.. I have spent my whole life collecting old stuff so I really thank you and like when  people can enjoy it with me.. I think this is best to have people learn and enjoy from my own collecting  trip.. I thank my parents for dragging them along with me my whole life.. doing same ...

  • Very good - I am also a sucker for "wormhole" pieces. In this case I like the fact that these have "more to them" than most! Very good pieces indeed.
