  • This is a very strange fibula

because first it bears a ram's head hallmark, an oddity south of the atlas mountains and second it seems like if the holes were drilled on a silver sheet...usually the holes are tubes making up the fibula's body

  • I was told this was purchased a long time ago by someone working in Morocco in some sort of diplomatic capacity. It came from an old estate in Carmel, California. The holes do not go through but appear on both sides.
  • then i think that this is a very early and very worn genuine worm hole one!!

The ram's head hallmark make it even more exceptionnal
