Wonderful pendant indeed!
But seems rather south asian to me
I put it on my website www.halter-ethnic .com see "My Finds" with the following description :"
Found in Cairo, Egypt, this pendant is from India, the opportunity to remember that the jewels like people travel! The leaves of the Pipal tree were frequently used as jewellery motives in Gujarat : Tree crowned (ficus religiosa) with the multiple symbols, and uses., the pipal is an imposing tree which can reach until 30 meters height...the work on this pendant is particulary refined!
