  • An unusual piece! Do you know the age and region?
  • I purchased it from a seller that thought it was Berber, I have been looking in my books to find something similar but failed so any help would be nice.
  • Doesn't look Moroccan...I would guess at possible Yemeni?

  • Also looks to have loops all the way around, I think this is something else made into a necklace.

  •  The pendant looks like an Ottoman Turkey headpiece
  • I think Johanne is right in mentionning a headpiece from the ottoman empire

Obviously reused as a pendant..the big couloured beads were also very widespread in middle eastern ottoman jewelry

  • Thanks to all for your input!
