Vintage sterling silver coned bracelet from Rajasthan - India. Inside a black plastic band on wich the silver is attached, opens with a clasp.

I have seen these before with interior bands other than silver, is this common? and why not silver?

Hi Kim,

I think plastic is easier to attache the silver too and also more softer to wear on the wrist, these are my thoughts only....
