  This is something for me...!!! (Smile). I know most styles except the one in the centre. The one in front of that one in the centre could it be Ethiopian? The Marabout ring (the square) is of a form I have never seen before! Very nice too! Thanks for showing!

  Me too I love big rings, the one in the centre has a chevron bead inside I purchased it in Marakech.  The large round ring is in fact Ethiopean and a hair ring also worn on leather rope.  The large Marabout ring usual is a square this is nice as it has another form I think.

  @Thank you for your response! Now I can see that the centre ring has a chevron bead inside, before I did not notice. I have not seen such a ring before! Nice to know! The Ethiopian ring I have seen worn on leather ropes around the neck  and it was said to be a wedding ring (but not worn on the finger!). The large Marabout ring is indeed very special. They are all nice and interesting!

  I saw a couple of rings in Marakesh made from old venetian beads with relatively new silverwork. They are stunning and, if I had not already owned such a ring thanks to Cam, I might have purchased one. That magic number ring will now obsess me totally until I can find another like it. Oh well, one more obsession won't hurt!
