  • I love the way these look on. I loved the one I had but I purchased it for inventory. I made the mistake of trying it on... it looked so nice but mine was more simple and didn't have the tassels that your has. Have a nice time wearing it! 2463552440?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024

  • I also think looking at yours and the ones published mine could have been made up and not original? taking chain and pieces made similarly ? It doesn't have the more complex format which most of them have.  the pieces seemed all same color and patina so I didn't question it so I don't know but they are not easy to get and I sold it as a wearible type anyway.

  • I don't know if mine is original, Patti has one that also looks different than mine, maybe they just all differ because they were made by different silversmiths.

  • I think I have seen more like yours published with the various tassels and such, yours looks more complete and balanced. Did you wear it yet? !  I actually have a great pair of earrings that match that!

I think they match anyway,, same type of work. They are big as I like them like that.  They actually were meant to match a necklace I had for sale however I believe the person who purchased it doesn't wear and just collects so now I have these earrings.. These are from a different area but I think they go  with it. 2506026410?profile=original

  • Although belonging to the same "ait seghrouchen" tribe, this necklace called is "taseddit". The tribe has a large geographical space that it occupies from around FES to the presahara just north of errachidia, thus leading to many shapes and variations.

Furthermore if it was used as a necklace amon the ait seghrouchen, it was also used by the "ait haddiddu" brides to adorn a huge and a complex headress and finally all these little elements when loose were heavily used as pendants in very beautiful and geniously made necklaces worn among the jewish population in south east morocco

Obviously linda's is silver and nielloed but marie-ange's seem to be metal with a "faux" niello.

  • Maybe marie-ange's has been slightly rearranged to look more balanced and symetrical but no harm.

  • According to the seller it was original made this way and yes made of metal mix, thanks for the additional information!!

I felt that some  pictures of them being worm may be of help

The style of cloak and dress in this pic suggests the Imilchil side of the mountain range, and therefore Hadhidhu

Separate pendants used by a Hadidhu lady in a mixed necklace.
