Just a fun picture to show the different shapes of the old resin and bakelite beads. One enormous bead (as large as an ordinary egg) to be hung on a cow, when she needs some protection for sickness or to produce good milk. In Ethiopia the moslem people believe very stronly in the healing and protection power of the amber and the resin beads.
