look the fire inside …great piece and great pic ..congrats..Betty !!!! fits my size ?? 11 american please !!!
Betty, what a beautiful, luminous carnelian ... and a lovely photograph. I wonder which part of Yemen this comes from.
This is a beautiful carnelian! ... and of course the silver work is very nice - typical Yemeni. With kind regards. Peter
Thank you Thelma, Peter and Angelo.
I am still researching about its possible origin within Yemen. Any ideas are welcome...
Angelo, I am afraid, this is not your size. It's more like a 8.5 - 9 since it only fits on my middle finger or index finger... but of course, you can always hold my hand!
Betty this rings are also found in Harrar so if it is from Yemen, it would be from the South. They do look very attractive one the hand. GR. ingrid.
Thank you, Ingrid, for the additional information. It is a wonderful ring and I am wearing it quite often.
